A friendly group of experienced youth workers, with wide range of talents that complement the club
Julie
Coordinator for Carrickvale drop in, has worked with kids for many many years. Based in Carrickvale for 5 years, working with various youth groups in the centre. Also works day time in a council nursery. Loves when we can get outside into the garden, as feels very at home there.
Heather
With over 7 years working with AN children of all ages in various groups, mainly teens with challenging behaviour and being deputy manager at the consortium play scheme. Also recently moved to a mainstream afterschool club. Working with FABB since start, loves the sporty challenge of the big hall.
Selma
With a degree in community education, has been a youth worker for 15 years. Having varied involvement with groups of all ages with a speciality in the teen years. Enjoys the zen of the sensory room.
Sean
With over 8 years working with additional needs children including 3 years as deputy manager of consortium play scheme. Along with working at the drop in, open all hour’s clubs and starting as group leader of a mentoring project with fabb. Enjoys the games in the main hall but loves getting outside to play football.
Stacey
Studying BA in childhood practice and has got a HNC and PDA in childcare. Also works for the Council as a youth worker, with a speciality in early years for over 7 years. Loves helping in the art room and getting to know different children, and their families, with different needs.
Marianna
Working for Duke of Edinburgh award, is very enthusiastic about working with children. This is first time and very keen to learn. Loves working in the hall as enjoys all sports and is very active.
